BOARDING INFORMATION

CANINE BOARDING-

Thank you for choosing Pioneer Animal Hospital for your boarding needs. All our kennels are indoors and climate-controlled. We clean each run or cage twice daily and as needed throughout the day. Our kennel attendants walk the dogs for 5-10 minutes four times daily on our exercise lawn.

Rates:
Single Dog                 $17.00/day
2 dogs in same cage   $28.50/day
2 dogs in same run     $31.50/day

We also offer a monthly boarding rate with a 20% discount – ask for details!

A boarding deposit equal to half the expected boarding fee is due 10 days prior to your stay.  This policy is in effect for all the major holidays and for the summer period between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Our runs for 60+ lbs. dogs book quickly.  We recommend reserving a run at your earliest opportunity.  We do not allow small dogs to upgrade to a run during the busiest boarding periods as we need to reserve these for the pets that must have a large space due their size.

We require current vaccinations for all pets.  This includes Rabies, DHLPP/DA2PP, and Bordetella.  For animals that have never had a Bordetella vaccine, this must be done at least 10 days prior to your pet’s stay. Please provide your pet’s vaccination records (if done elsewhere) so we can make a copy for our records.  All pets that have not been examined at our facility in the last 3 months will receive a complimentary boarding physical examination upon admission.  Please allow approximately 30 – 45 minutes for this when you bring your dog to board or we can arrange for this exam by appointment prior to boarding.  Any other vaccines (other than an initial bordetella vaccine) that are due can be updated at this time.  If you would like to fax your pet’s records to us, our fax number is (913) 682-6005.
