Recommendations for your cat:

Pioneer Animal Hospital believes strongly in a minimum standard of care for all pets. Below are the recommendations we have established. We also understand that each pet has its own needs for care. We will tailor these and/or additional recommendations for your pet at each visit.

• Wellness examinations every 6 months.


• Wellness blood testing yearly starting at age 3.


• Fecal Flotation for intestinal parasites at least yearly.


• Heartworm prevention monthly for the entire year (tests on healthy cats not recommended at this time)


• Flea and tick prevention monthly for the entire year.


• Vaccinations annually as determined by health status, lifestyle and law.


• Science Diet food.
