Recommendations for your exotic pet:

Pioneer Animal Hospital believes strongly in a minimum standard of care for all pets. Below are the recommendations we have established. We also understand that each pet has its own needs for care. We will tailor these and/or additional recommendations for your pet at each visit.

• Wellness exminations every 6 months.


• Vaccinations - most species do not require vaccinations (ferrets are the exception; birds depend on lifestyle)


• Fecal flotation or direct examination for intestinal parasites at least annually.
