New Appointment Policy

To our valued clients,

Although Pioneer Animal Hospital has always had a cancellation policy, present circumstances are leading us to amend our policy. Effective immediately, we will charge a fee for “no-show” appointments and for those appointments not cancelled within at least 4 hours of the scheduled time slot. If advance notification of 4 hours is not given, a non-refundable fee of $48.50 will be added to your account for each missed appointment. This fee must be paid in full prior to any future business transactions. This will include scheduling future appointments and any other business transactions.

We are now in our 8th week of utilizing our curbside procedures in response to the COVID 19 pandemic. The biggest challenge our staff faces is accommodating the needs of our clients and patients while still maintaining appropriate facets of social distancing. Your feedback has been valuable in helping us streamline this process. 

Due to a high demand for appointments in addition to our social distancing protocols, when someone cancels without giving adequate advance notice or does not show for an appointment, it prevents other patients from having access to that appointment slot. By providing notice of at least 4 hours of your need to cancel or change an appointment, we will be better able to accommodate other patients who need/want to be seen.  This in return will allow us to serve the needs of all our clients/patients.

Effective immediately (May 13, 2020), Pioneer Animal Hospital requires notice of at least 4 hours if you must cancel or reschedule an appointment or appointments. Our voicemail is set up for you to leave a message before we open for business.
